Passive Infra Operations and Maintenance

Passive Infrastructure Operations and Maintenance (O&M) involves the ongoing care and upkeep of physical structures and components within a telecommunications network or other infrastructure that are not actively transmitting data or signals. This includes activities like site maintenance, power supply management, and ensuring the overall operational efficiency of these passive assets.

Key Aspects of Active Infra O&M:

Site Maintenance:

This includes tasks like keeping cell sites clean, maintaining shelters, towers, and associated equipment, ensuring proper upkeep of the environment to prevent damage and ensure optimal functionality.

Power Supply Management:

This involves monitoring and managing power sources, including diesel generators (DGs), batteries, and electrical infrastructure, ensuring reliable backup power in case of grid failures.

Equipment Maintenance:

This includes preventive and corrective maintenance of DGs, ACs, and electrical/utility equipment, such as power interface units (PIU), AMF panels, rectifiers, and batteries.
